VMware - Share folders between the host and VM
Another very useful function in the VM is able to share folders on the host system (which is actually installed on the physical computer) for access within a virtual machine.
To make this configuration is very simple:
- With the VM offline, select it and click on "VM / Settings" (CTRL + D shortcut lovers).
- Choose the tab "Options";
- Click "Shered Folders", and the right side clear the checkbox "Disable Shared Folders";
- Now click on "ADD". A name for the share and 'host folder' and choose a folder to share.
- Finally leave the option "Enable this share" enabled.
Ready! is already working!
Now when the VM, you can access your shares on "\ \. Host." See the images below:

Personal
I do not have the option to share folders / Shared Folders, ... between the Power and Snapshots.
What do I do?
Note: VMWare Server Console 1.0.8

And then Neto's all good?
Kra ... as far as I know there's no way to share between snapshots. Cause they would be as restore points, theoretically a snapshot has no connection with another snapshot.
But if I find something about it I send you an email!
Hugs!

Personal business is the following. I also installed VMware on my machine and following the guidance of Marcelo, we should find the Shared Folders option in the options. Of course, everything is easier, I happen to not have this option in my OPTIONS and I already have installed VMware Tools. WHAT TO DO ???????? My problem now became how to share folders to enable Shared Folders!

Still on VMWare, I have problems with the internet. Here at home my internet is wireless (wifi), picks up normally, but when I'm using the VM without the internet. What is it?
